Bug report filed as bug 18114.
Michael., this bug just caught me out again after forgetting about it.
Did you ever manage to reproduce it?
I don't think I've ever further followed up on it. Most likely it's a
firmware problem. And those won't be fixed anyway. That feature was
introduced in 7.8 and required some player side changes. And we don't
have any 7.8 Radio firmware.
