1. Dragging local files uploads them to the cache - could it not detect if they
are on the server (but not scanned in LMS), and instead play them as if
Browsing Disks and folders?

Technically possible. But you wouldn't like it, as LMS would have to find that file on your disk somehow. And that's slow. It could actually take minutes to find a file out of nowhere. Keep in mind that the client side (Browser) does _not_ get any path information, but only the filename.

2. It would be nice if I could drop a folder into the browser, to upload all
files in the folder - is that possible?

Similar limitation: I would only get the folder name, but neither its content nor the full path to it. Therefore I can't even "browse" the folder myself to create the upload list.

Chrome does have methods to handle this. But IIRC all the other browser developers explicitely decided against this feature.

3. 100MB is a bit limiting. One case I would use this for mostly would be podcasts that I don't
scan into LMS. The majority of my podcasts are over an hour long, way over 100MB. Is this
configurable? Why have a limit? Perhaps limit up to "max size of cache folder - 100MB",
where max size of cache folder could be calculated or manually set as an advanced property. A bit
like "BBC iPlayer downloads" app.

Yeah, I thought a user-defineable value would be asked for sooon :-)
