Squeeze Commander seems to be dead; no update for years. Users report it is not working for 6.0 Marshmallow. While average rating on Google is still around 4.5, ratings from 2016 seem to be closer to 2 or so.
Squeeze Ctrl is very demanding on server power according to the author; it is probably not a good choice for an ARM NAS. No free preview/trial available! Orange Squeeze: seems to be good, but no free preview/trial available! Freezer: Free, works, including Android 6.0. Is still maintained As long as I don't hear of a clear advantage of Orange Squeeze over the free Squeezer and as long as there is no free trial, I would stick to the free Squeezer. --- LMS 7.8.
