Question: I notice that it adds 25 Spotify tracks to the end of the
playlist. Can I change this number in settings? Have looked but can not
find an option.
No, there's no such option. I think the number is a rather deliberate
choice on my part. I probably chose it to have a balance between too
much drift and running dry due to lack of seed information.

The algorithm picks five random tracks from your queue. They could
always be the same five picks or only from the latest or well
distributed. I don't know, it's random. But as tracks are added, the
potential seed choices grow. This can lead to more variety - which is
good for some, bad for others.
This is not SmartMix. It lacks a lot of the smarts that plugin had,
unfortunately.
