Haha, that is true, Win10 does force updates.  What I meant was that I
did nothing manually to my system in the past 6 months.  Also, not sure
if it helps debugging, but I was able to get around the issue by
disabling two of your plugins, Picture Gallery and Image Viewer I
believe are the names.
