Ok, ok, we can still make it in less than 3 years since 7.8.0 was released... I've been asked repeatedly when 7.9 would be released. Now I think would be a good time. There haven't been any major changes in quite a while, 7.9 seems really stable. Let's release it before I break it.
I've uploaded what I would consider release candidates to http://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.9.0/. Please give those builds a test ride. Code-wise they should be identical with the builds from earlier this week (commit 66fd78ae3465d6f3397147e985cc8bad963de67f). But release builds have a tweak here or there in the packaging, depending on the platform. Therefore these are new builds.
