REVERTING TO LMS7_8_1NIGHTLY
So I uninstall my LMS completely again, and do a clean install of a
LMS781nightly instead. Setup of this is almost complete now, including
adding a handful extra plugins (I just miss re-entering my list of
favorite radiostations and podcasts). Below follows complete server log
for this LMS781 install process.
LMS781 nightly now runs stable and well (again) on my NAS. Opening the
Playlists menu in Spotify takes 5 seconds via webinterface now. The log
shows some SSL issues, but not the same errors as when trying to install
(or run) LMS79x
Theres still a couple of error lines from when I try to play my beloved
KCRW Eclectic24 station, but I have concluded it is the station that has
changed its setup, and my link which needs an update.

Michael, I have noticed you have removed LMS781 nightlies from
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.8? Maybe a bit too early
to do so? Luckily I still had a version from January which I could
install...
The older LMS781nightly runs smooth and reasonably fast for me now
(again). Both generally and specifically in the Spotify part. Spotify
Playlists menu now takes 5 seconds to open (I have >200 playlists in
Spotify, so it seems fair).
In the server log of 781 theres are a lot of Async::HTTP: Unable to
load IO::Socket::SSL, will try connecting to SSL servers in non-SSL
mode warnings. I dont know if anything can be done to fix that? The
errors seen on LMS79x are generally not seen on LMS781.
I have recently purchased a Synology DS716+ II. I might try to install
LMS791 on that at some later time. But if possible I really prefer to
continue to use my Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra for LMS, because I can at any
time download latest official nightly build for it, which can easily be
installed without having to do any super user Linux/NAS-OS stuff
