Where exactly should these SSL errors be corrected?
That's a good question. One problem is that many services/radios fail due to invalid certs. The situation certainly is improving, as SSL becomes more and more standard.
The other problem is systems running outdated libraries. Some NAS devices don't have up to date root certs in place. They would fail the tests.
This probably has to become another pref: enable strict checking or not. Not going to happen today. But please feel free to leave a comment on github so we don't forget about it.
