Jan,

Sorry - this seems to have been a false alarm.  It's the difference
between running a Tcl interpreter (either "wish" or "tclsh") via an
"External Compiler" or via an "External App" within PSPad.

Running an interpreter as a "compiler" exhibits the blocking behaviors I
have described previuosly.  Running as an "external app" behaves
correctly (PSPad is not blocked, code can be edited while an app instance
is running, new instances can be started, etc).

So, if I run as an "external app", things act as I expect.  So, no
problems here.  Though, I have to wonder if a "compiler" should be able
to run the same way?
