The splash screen going all white or almost all white seems to be related to the Code Explorer window being enabled or not (at least on my system). It seems as if it initially draws part of the Code Explorer window in the middle of the screen which causes the splash screen to blank out and then shifts it over to the right side. In any case, if I set the Code Explorer window to not be displayed, the Splash Screen remains visible the whole time. Mark H. [%sig%] -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
