Food being sold at higher price in trains

BEWARE....food items are being sold at exhorbitant rates in the trains.

Yesterday, we raided few trains in the morning that were going from Mumbai
to Pune, and found that almost all the trains were selling breakfast of VEG
CUTLET for Rs 25 while actual cost is Rs 12 for 2 units of veg cutlet and Re
1 for single bread slice.

Veg cutlet packet containing two units of veg cutlet with one slice of bread
cut into two units should cost Rs 13.

When asked for justification for Rs 25, the staff cunningly told passengers
that cutlet is Rs 15 and as it is served with bread butter, it costs Rs. 10
more.

When I personally telephoned the member of Railway Board in Delhi from the
train, and asked him to talk to the pantry staff, the staff was ready to
refund my money.

I just asked the staff to refund excess money to everyone in the train whom
they cheated.

Similarly veg meal that costs Rs 32 is being sold for Rs 40 to Rs 45.

Check for all rates of the food itmes on this link
