Dear friends of Buoyancee, this letter comes to you as a request to be a part of our project, Build India.
Every year in November, we celebrate children. From slums, to the hearing and visually impaired and destitute, it is our privilege to reach out to these needy with relevant Life skills, including the mentally challenged. The impact of the same was recognised by Sir Ratan Tata Trust as India Leaders for Tomorrow and GKP Malaysia and Ogunte, UK honoured us as social entrepreneurs. While our staff spend major part of the month with these projects, the basic expenses involved is supported by well wishers of Buoyancee, like YOU. Buoyancee has been conducting these programs since 12 years. Just like we pay a price for all our needs, we believe that the only price for our existence is service. Here's a request to put a smile on the needy little faces! The cost of Children’s day out on Nov 11th is Rs 200/= per child. Buoyancee, in its quest to reach out to all sections of the society, conducts programmes at several avenues, working with children directly and with educators and parents too. Requesting your participation & to be a part of this endeavour. For Rs. 200/- you will be contributing towards each child on the 11th & the balance will be used for the other extensions as below.. Could you pl forward the same to like minded friends? *Empowerment programmes for:-* *Children’s Day out : Nov 11th * Slum children, over 300 from Urs colony studying in St Anthony’s will be spending a day with us along with their teachers.We will be giving them mental as well as physical and psychological food – being conducted from the last 12 yrs. *Hearing/Visually impaired & Mentally Challenged: -* Dates to be confirmed with the institutes… Ramanashree School for the Blind Sheela Kotwal School for the Dumb & Deaf, behind Manipal Hosp Kotaling facilities for the mentally challenged, Whitefield Our staff will be spending a day with them conducting life skills (which we have been conducting regularly) * * *Teen Treat : Nov 8th* Today’s teens are in a turmoil and they will be spending a day with us getting all their answers with respect to facing life’s realities with confidence.
