With great pleasure we would like to keep you informed that "Walkathon
2011- Walk for Shelter” a mega event organized by Samarthanam to
commemorate World Disability Day is scheduled for December 10th 2011.

Hosting a unique event as this is to create awareness about the
differential abilities of the disabled and attempt to successfully
integrate them into the mainstream. This year we are expecting 20,000
people from different walks of life to take part in this Great Walkathon.
Besides being a forum for creating awareness about the cause of the
disabled, this walkathon acts as a fund raising platform for the Disabled
friendly Residential School, comprising 55,000 sq. ft. with an estimated
cost or Rs. 8.25 Crores ( Eight Crores twenty five lakhs) at HSR layout,
Sector 4 , Bangalore.

We, at Samarthanam, firmly believe that an event of this magnitude can be
successful only with your encouragement, and lots of involvement and
commitment by our team.

How you can support us to make this event a success?
