SAY NO to SMOKING
Did the monster knock at your door?
Did it come disguised as your neighbour?
Did you embrace it out of ignorance?
Did it embrace you at a stage of innocence?
Cigarettes are like leeches.
Slowly sucking your life span.
Slyly encroaching on your breathing rights
Preparing your family for your last rites.
As tobacco leads you to the coffin,
A bleak future awaits your kith and kin.
Your life is a god given treasure
Why deprive yourself of its pleasure?
Lung cancer is not a matter of humour.
Friend, you are being eaten by a tumour
Rapidly preying on each and every cell.
No prayers can then save you from hell.
Friend, throw away that cigarette,
At no point you will ever fret.
No more "Last one please".
Right now let the habit cease.
Today's NO SMOKING Resolution
Tomorrow's NO SMOKING Revolution.
