INTRODUCTION
The state of art of factory management is changing faster than the people
leading the factory.
Batch production has given place to SPF, Central planning has been replaced by
Pull system, ERP has replaced MRP I and MRP II, Fixed wages have yielded to
result based variable component, Democracy has come to workplace, Pyramid has
reversed and Supply chain is in place.
However many factories are still run on the conventional lines and get sub
optimal results.
This program is aimed at bridging the gap between theory & practice.
OBJECTIVES
The workshop will leave the participants with an understanding of how to help
the participants to become more modern and effective factory managers.
