meant to make this a separate commit, Also made scriptlinks a user preference since loading a file with scriptlinks disabled, and then another file with scriptlinks enabled, would disable scriptlinks even if they were disabled in the users .B.blend file. this could get quite annoying. better to make this a user pref.
