Hi all
We just had a long discussion about animation handling quality with QT or
ffmpeg.
Turned out that ffmpeg can now handle almost all QT types but is also coded
better
in some regards. especially .h264 and .mp4 turned out to be really lame ( <
20fps)
in Qt. So i for now commited a "filter" to let ffmpeg do most videohandling,
exept some rare cases.

Generally we should discuss if we really need QT any longer for it is still
suboptimal implemented
and only used for OSX ( and optional windows ).

Opinions please…..

Cheers…. Jens
