It can be: do a 'git log' and look for a line like this:
git-svn-id: https://svn.blender.org/svnroot/bf-blender/trunk@34095
954f8c5b-7b00-dc11-b283-0030488c597c
34095 is the revision number. You just need to skip past the non-svn log
messages.
