For the records, I tried: CUDA 5.0, 5.5_20, 5.5_28 (even though it was
a 10.9 pkg), 6.0RC

They all fail with the same error:
clang: error: unsupported option '-dumpspecs'

I'm leaving this as it is for now. I happen to be setting up a Linux
box that has a NVidia card. It's a remote computer, so not ideal for
my day-to-day code, but it may do to get bake-cycles building with
CUDA.

Thanks for the help though,
Dalai
