For the records, I tried: CUDA 5.0, 5.5_20, 5.5_28 (even though it was a 10.9 pkg), 6.0RC
They all fail with the same error: clang: error: unsupported option '-dumpspecs' I'm leaving this as it is for now. I happen to be setting up a Linux box that has a NVidia card. It's a remote computer, so not ideal for my day-to-day code, but it may do to get bake-cycles building with CUDA. Thanks for the help though, Dalai -- blendernetwork.org/dalai-felinto www.dalaifelinto.com 2014-04-02 12:26 GMT-03:00 Brecht Van Lommel <[email protected]>: > You can try installing the latest CUDA toolkit version: > https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads > > There was a change in the new Xcode and/or OS X 10.9 that broke the > CUDA toolkit, NVidia released a new version with a fix for this. > > > > On Wed, Apr 2, 2014 at 2:58 AM, Dalai Felinto <[email protected]> wrote: >> sorry, I pressed "send" by mistake/too early. >> >> Anyways, the error I get is: >> clang: error: unsupported option '-dumpspecs' >> >> That happens with or without the patch sent by Sens.
