Hey, Just a heads up that today we set up SSL on https://download.blender.org, for those of you would prefer such things. Access isn't force redirected to SSL at the moment, but who knows. Also need some tweaks to cipher order etc, but *yawn* another time :)
We also replaced the cert on SVN, so there should hopefully be no more hassle with people on Linux having problems with the untrusted free cacert we were using that required editing some obscure svn config file hidden in a .dot directory. If you are the type of person who follows SSL closely, you may notice the fingerprint change again if we opt for the extra validation to get the organization field in the cert filled in with the Blender non profit name, but for now the organization field is blank. Either way, here are the fingerprints of the current wildcard cert: SHA-256 Fingerprint FE 51 35 E6 7A 0B 85 69 7E CC ED 8A 0C 81 0A 32 A4 5F 5E 96 A4 95 F3 F4 EE 67 64 94 E0 DA 5D FF SHA-1 Fingerprint FC 74 B3 84 F5 40 A2 7E 0F DC 55 BF 3B EC B7 F0 DE AB ED 93 Cheers o/ Dan _______________________________________________ Bf-committers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/bf-committers
