Hey, First of all, think we're rather safe for 2.77 (meaning, no need in 2.77-RC3).
= List of Revisions = Here's list of proposed revisions for inclusion (d8b8a6e .. 4918211) 5fd0c1e Campbell Barton BMesh: avoid assert dissolving degenerate faces 431a5b6 Campbell Barton Fix T47688: Regression in gl_load 9fe977d Julian Eisel Fix T47706: 'CTRL ALT Left Mouse' clicking on the dope sheet summary line crashes Blender 5adfdd9 Sergey Sharybin Fix T47681: Bump node doesn't work with SSS shader when using OSL 9b3b0a5 Sergey Sharybin Skip scopes update for render result during rendering 751874d Campbell Barton CMake: remove OSX version lookup table 0bcbbb1 Campbell Barton Fix T47749: Crash subdividing wire edge w/ mdisps c149b6b Campbell Barton Fix T47753: World equirectangular regression 1394369 Bastien Montagne Fix crash adding EditNormals modifier to NURBS object (or other types but mesh). 9389542 Thomas Dinges Cycles: Do no limit viewport samples to USHRT_MAX when value is at 0. 7d82de9 Sergey Sharybin Fix bad UI range of convergence distance which was above the hard limit 34fe03c Bastien Montagne Fix T47773: Particle System with Boids Crash. e509e91 Sergey Sharybin Fix T47785: Rendering Crash, Node Connector Crash, Changing Editors Crash 6b1d77a Bastien Montagne Fix T47787: When performing operation 'Make single user' -> 'obj&data', object could be removed from group. = Issues to be solved = There is still some issues in VSE which don't make me totally happy, this is about T47790. While VSE never worked fully correct here (previously it was always rendering scene with transparency, now it follows OpenGL render settings) it's still something to be addressed in one way or another. Being so close to the release, perhaps safe bet would be to expose OpenGL alpha mode next to OpenGL shading type in the scene strip settings and look into real solution after the release. = Release notes = Please make sure all your awesome new features are listed in the release notes [1]. = Timing = Propose to agree on commits to be backported today, do a backport but AHOY tomorrow afternoon. This way everyone will be welcome to run regression tests on actual release branch.
