Hey,

Notes of today's Blender 2.8 planning meeting.

Last week reports:

* Bastien: Finished envelope bone drawing.

* Campbell: Focused on loose ends for draw manager (mainly: hidden faces in 
paint modes, Clay & Eevee flat shading and Empty-image draw type support)

* Clément: Focused on drawing optimization. Also batch instancing, octahedron 
mapping, and started on soft shadows.

* Dalai: Got freestyle working in 2.8 with Cycles and did fixes and cleanup.

* Luca: Did some fixes and implemented matcaps for hair, and implemented 
drawing for other particle types.

* Sergey: Wrote design document for the new Blender 2.8 depsgraph [1].


This week's plan:

* Bastien: Will work on porting workspaces.

* Campbell: Starts working on face manipulators.

* Clément: Will be in the studio this week, working on planning next phase of 
Eevee, probe, performance ideas and usability.

* Dalai: Will be working with Clément, and will finish 
render_to_image/render_to_view for the draw manager.

* Luca: Will fix some remaining issues with particle drawing, and start working 
on particle code refactoring.

* Sergey: Starts working on CoW, so the external areas (modifiers, render 
engines..) can get adapted to a proper API.
