I so miss the 60-80hr work weeks of coding, managing, documenting, marketing, distributing of software products... do new volunteers get complementary protective underwear?
As for what can be done better, during the transition to the next release there is going to be a lot of turmoil. As I am not involved with dev/maint will be cautious about making any changes until "all clear" is given to proceed. That may limit the ability of those whom propose projects relating to "improvements and additions" to Blender for GSoC. That said, would be interested in seeing what proposals are submitted by candidates regarding project. Not detail, just title/topic/premise of planned goal (a sentence will do). A question, that is partly meant as a suggestion, is there an email/IRC thread/channel for BlenderGS0C?
