Hello,

To improve Blender's quality and stability throughout the development cycle, developers are expected to fix high priority reports before continuing with new development from now on. This applies to all stages of the release cycle. For example if a developer has two open high priority reports at the beginning of Bcon1, the reports have to be fixed first before working on new features.

Developers can lower the priority if they think it shouldn't be high by adding an explanation to the report. The number of high priority reports is reported every day on blender.chat inside #blender-coders or can be checked on Phabricator. [1]

The aim for the Blender project is to keep the number of high priority bugs near 0 at all times.

If you have questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best regards,

Thomas
