Hello, I do not know if this is the appropriate place to ask this question but i have been having trouble finding the answer for this and as someone with some programming experience this is something i am interesting in tackling.
My question is as follows: Is the lack of a plugin or core implementation of multi touch gestures and user interface due to a legal issues (concern over lawsuits from Apple) or lack of a team withe the technical expertise to actually implement said add-on? If it is the latter, and i decide to pursue creating an add on or actually trying to change the core implementation what are the steps i should take? (my understanding is that i would write the scripts/code on my own then test it to some degree to make sure it works, but after that what do i do in order to submit it for review and what is the process for committing the code when the review is done as well as improvements).
