I can't tell you what BGG has done for the industry, but I can tell you what BGG has done for me.
BGG has made me who I am today. If it weren't for BGG, I would own a few games that I would play with family only on holidays. I would know nothing of Eurogames. Because of BGG, I own 100+ games. Because of BGG and my addictive personality I am totally and completely obsessed with good Board Games. I love the new game smell. I love quality components, great artwork, fantastic boards, clever mechanics, theme; heck, I still giggle when a box farts. I received Blokus as a gift, Christmas 2006. I became facinated with Blokus and looked it up online. That brought me to BGG. I looked at the game rankings. Puerto Rico was #1 at the time (remember that?). I bought Puerto Rico. I played Puerto Rico. It was all downhill from there..... On Dec 30, 5:56 am, Tk Chumper <[email protected]> wrote: > With BGG down it really makes me think what the site has done for the > industry.
