Really, I'm perplexed why this would be necessary on a Saturday morning when people actually have time to browse the site a leisure. I completely understand and the support for preventative maintenance, but why is it being done during "prime time"? Honestly normal maintenance should occur on weeknights during the 2-5 AM window. It seems that these things happen too often during the prime viewing areas. I understand that this is a hobby for the site admins, but some kind of balance needs to be struck.
Now if it was unscheduled maintenance please strike all of the above observations and opinions from the record. I've donated to the site because it's a wonderful service, and the work of the site admin's is greatly appreciated.
