I have to disagree. While I had no stake in either team (but I was
pulling a little for the Cardinals to win. The Steelers had 5 rings
already. They need to share with the other children.), I felt this was
a very boring game, save the last play of the 1st half, and the last 3
minutes of the 2nd half. The refs were calling WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
too many penalties, first on Arizona, then on Pittsburgh. It's like
they were trying to hard to call the game, and made several bad
penalty calls. I was thinking that the refs were going to cost Arizona
the game, but Pittsburgh couldn't put it away because their offense
was weak.

Anyway, on top of the boring game, none of the commercials stuck out
as great, or even really good. The trailers for Land of the Lost and
Transformers 2 were the best of the night. How sad is that? None of
the Bud/Bud Light commercials were funny, the GoDaddy.com ads had
plenty of girl eye candy, but didn't drive me to my computer to see
the "unfiltered" endings, and the one commercial that I thought was
going to be great - The MacGruber Pepsi ad with Richard Dean Anderson,
just fell flat.

I really wish I could get my 4 hours back. This was just a bad night
for football and TV. Refs ruined what should have been a good matchup,
and all the commercials failed to leave a lasting memory. Guess I'll
have to wait for next year.
