Not quite the same, but Verkisto put me in mind of it. I work at a remote mine site. All our vehicles have reversing beepers. There's a bird that's local to the area that's a mimic, and loves imitating the reversing beepers. We're up before dawn anyway, so they don't wake us up, but I have been startled a number of times by hearing the siren and looking around to see what's about to reverse over me, only to discover that it's a bird.
