Well, start off with a Ziplock sandwich bag for each color, which includes spaceships and tech cards. You'll also want to buy more dice. When cutting the ships from the sprues, use pliers or some other hand tool, not scissors. By the time your hand heals, BGG should be back up -- I'm sure there's a TI3 thread how to store the components...!
