How about this alternate time-line... As an infant, Kal-El is placed in a rocket by his father, Jor-El, just before his home planet Krypton explodes. Debris from the explosion deflects the rocket into a new trajectory. Instead of landing on Earth, it instead ends up in a galaxy far, far away. The rocket lands on the distant planet Tatooine. The boy is discovered by Shmi Skywalker, who decides to raise the child along with her son Anakin. Clark Skywalker clearly is different compared to the other children. Under the twin-yellow suns of Tatooine, Clark is faster than a light- speeder and more powerful than a Jawa transporter. In spite of his own mechanical prowess, Anakin is jealous of his adopted brother’s abilities. While on a mission for the Jedi counsel, Owi-wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn discover the boys. Obi-wan recognizes the immense power inherent in both of them. He decides he should take them both to Master Yoda so that they may be trained in the ways of the Jedi.
