It's not just you. BGG is very slow today. Forum posts are there but not showing up in the front page modules. If you go to your contributions you can see the threads as well as responses when a small number of people see the thread show up using different mechanisms of BGG.
Thumb counts appear to not be going up either. I'm assuming that they've taken down some timed agents that run around and update stuff while they figure out what's hogging the resources.
