30% is an AWFUL margin.. especially when one factors in shipping
costs. I manage a retail store which sells both new and used
merchandise. The average margin on new merchandise is generally
45%-50%. The margin on used merchandise is generally 65%-75%. A 30%
margin as a standard would bankrupt most stores.
