A while back, I started playing a few games with some people at work. It started with me joining them for Mexican Train Dominoes, and then i started teaching them 6 Nimmt! and other filler-type stuff.
With me taking public transportation for a while, I have been working on a small travel box to carry some of these games in, to give us a variety of games to choose from. I found a nice case at Michael's that had a ton of tiny little cases in side it, and two large-ish cases in side. It looked like what I wanted, so this weekend I started putting it together. I want a case with a good variety of games that are short (less than an hour) and the I enjoy. I want to take it to game nights as well as use here at work. Here is what is inside (i tossed the tiny cases, and use the 2 largish ones and Hugo's Amazing Tape on the card decks): 6 Nimmt! Deck Sticheln Deck Bohnanza Deck Poison Deck Flaschenteufel Deck Wooden disk & pawns from Big Points (The Disks get used with Die Sieben Siegel and No Thanks! & Loco as well) Raj prize tiles (Also useful for playing Big Points, as i didn't put in the ladder) 1 large maroon wooden token (larger than a poker chip) for use as Saboteur (Die Sieben Siegel), Fool (Foppen), or Bottle Imp (Flaschenteufel) Rules for the following games: 1. 6 Nimmt! 2. Auf Falscher Fahrte 3. Big Points 4. Bohnanza 5. David & Goliath 6. Die Seiben Siegel 7. Escalation 8. Fette Fünfzeun 9. Flaschenteufel 10. Foppen 11. Hattrick 12. Last Card 13. Loco 14. Lost Cities 15. Margin for Error 16. MiT List Und Tück 17. No Thanks! 18. Ohio 19. Parade 20. Pepper 21. Poison 22. Raj 23. Schotten-Totten 24. Sticheln 25. Wizard There is a little bit of room still in the box. Maybe 1 deck of cards worth of space. I could also include rules for pretty much any standards deck cards game, if i wished, but I was trying to come up with something else to put in... Any ideas of other bits/games/rules to include? Maybe something with dice...?
