You should always write long posts or messages in a text editor, no
matter what site you are on. At any moment, your browser could crash,
your computer could crash, your power could go out, etc. If you really
don't want to open up an editor, get in the habit of doing a Ctrl+A
Ctrl+C (or whatever keys your OS/browser uses for Select All and Copy)
before previewing your post. That way if BGG is down or your
connection gets screwed up you still have a copy of your post on the
clipboard.
