The trick is to leave the page as is and move on to another tab.
Once BGG (or any site) comes back up click on the Reload button. It
will ask you if you want to resubmit the POST data (i.e., your
response) and if you hit the yes button your comments will still
process. But -- you have to just leave that page alone and be
patient. Often you only think of that after it's too late.
