So, we're selling our house. Move it out, pack it up. Our ratty old deck is torn down, to be replaced by a larger one. Last year I took a picture of some tomato plants in the soil boxes. So if you ever see that picture, gaze to the right side, and see the lurking horror. When the workers knocked out the wooden planks around the soil, they suddenly noticed there were bugs crawling on the planks. They were hundreds of brown recluse spiders. Fortunately no one was bitten. My best guess is, when I put the Loewe's soil mix and peat moss in, there was an egg sac or more, ah, MIXED in. But they are mostly exterminated now. Please don't tell this story to our prospective buyers.
