I Played It once, so I don't know if I'm the best person to respond, but I think you will get a good idea of the game if you play the short version. There are so many things going on in the game, you will probably need to play through once before really getting the basics of the strategy. I wish that I had payed the short game my first go- round. I think we would have had a better experience overall, and would probably be more likely to play again.
