Hi all, I was about to post on the forums, and then then this. BGG is addictive, , so in order for me to not suffer to much from the withdrawal I'll post my question here.
I'm looking at some input on which wargame to purchase. I'm not new to complex games, but new to wargaming. * * *Requirements on the game:* * less than 15h play time (we don't mind long play times, although World in Flames would be bit too much) * Based on World War 1 or 2 (or in roughly the same time frame) * Fits on my dining table * In print, or at least in stock so that I can get hold of it *The game will score bonus points if: * * It it works with four players as well as with two * Contains "economic" play (resources, factories etc to build new units) *Games I've considered so far: * *Still in the race: * * Paths of Glory * Combat Commander: Europe *Out:* * Twilight Struggle (already on the shopping list, and does not feel like the type of wargames listed above?) * A&A (not sure why, but this one haven't "stucked". I may be conviced otherwise though..) * World in Flames (too long play time) *Not yet considered: * Memoir 44 Any input? And if you recommend a game - why? Thanks in advance!
