Scott, is a shortage of donations the bottleneck that leads to BGG being
down so often?

Please note I am NOT complaining and this is an earnest inquiry.

BGG is an unbelievably rich free resource that I'd be immensely
appreciative of
even if it had 10x more downtime.

I'm just wondering because I've been active in a number of other online
communities
over the years both bigger and smaller and BGG seems to spend more
time offline than any of the others.

Of course it's still only a tiny fraction of the time and not an enormous
inconvenience at all, I'm just curious as to why it seems to
be a bigger issue here than elsewhere.
