I have no financial stake in the game and no vested interest other 
than to get it published which can be challenging for wargames that aren't 
in the standard mold (i.e., World War II tank battles).  We wargamers tend 
to evangelize a bit for games we want to see clear their preorder numbers.

     Lincoln's War is a very interesting critter that uses a lot of euro 
concepts to advance the gameplay.  You still need to make good decisions on 
the map, but it's really about the wheeling and dealing going on in 
Washington and Richmond more than operations in the field.
