Fantasy fans and Role Play Gamers, here's your chance to create your own
adventure. I'm looking for your input on encounters a typical band of
quest seekers and adventurists would come across as they travel across a
fantasy realm. The preferred theme is final fantasy type humanoids – but
much room for liberty.

*Text *should read less than 75 words (including spaces and punctuation).

*Rewards* and penalties will be measured upon skill checks and battles.
The mechanic will be revealed later.

*Battles* are meant to be a small part of the game and battles occur on
only 10% of battles.

*Omit *specific rewards and penalties unless strictly theme related (ie
injury if skill is failed). Its recommended that the author add a number
of encounters to tell a story if a specific reward or penalty occurs.

*Encounters *will be played out by an entire team. Though a single
character in the game could be the sole beneficiary.

The story line is the most important. The thread itself will act as an
adventure, though we won’t roll for checks, penalties or rewards. I’ll
reveal the mechanic later. For now await my next forum post to read the
first encounter. The characters are a bumbling Mage, a Strong Intelligent
Knight, A Young Apprentice (Squire/Healer/Support) and a swift Archer.

While traveling to visit King Ithondor, you stumble upon a riddle telling
troll.
What once was said, was never heard
A whisper told, upon deaf ears
But the keeper of the word
An animal who speaks; a … ?
What am I?
To solve the riddle [pass check]. Upon success the troll provides
[reward].
