Unfortunately I have to agree with Travis. I'm not going to lose sleep over not having access to a hobby related forum but I've been involved as a moderator and admin with a number of communities of greater and lesser size, most with less passionate donating supporters, and they were all infinitely more stable. And yes, some were custom coded, maintained their own server racks, and dealt with even more traffic… all with negligible downtime compared to here.
I do donate, and do appreciate all that BGG is… but this site is down FAR more often than any other community of any size I've regularly participated in, and that simply comes down to mismanagement somewhere no matter how you slice it.
