I got my copy last week. I certainly wasn't disappointed. To me its like a much more intuitive version of Arkham Horror. The pieces are nice, its a good game (its quite hard!), there's plenty of flavour in the text, and a multitude of things to do on your turn. I read the rules thoroughly twice then played with our group. The first game was long (4 hours), but we had it mostly nailed after one game.
