Hey all, So I'm looking for a specific sort of 2 player game. I am not exactly sure what the Genre is called, or if it even is one, but the best I can do is provide examples. Ya see, my wife and I are extremely particular with board games.
Any suggested games should have the following: Realistic Graphic, i.e.: no kiddie cartoonish artwork, no miniatures that look like they should be in a children's cartoon or card artwork that looks like a joke. Competitive 1v1 gameplay, or co-op that does not require a dungeon master/overlord. Fantasy or Horror setting, (orcs, vampires, trolls, Wizards, Cthulhu, Greek mythology) Games that are currently at the top of our list that we have been absolutely enjoying are: BattleLord second Edition Summoner Wars Alliance Master Set Rum & Bones Cthulhu : Living Card Game X Wing : Miniatures Game Dreamblade (I know a throw back) We are looking for some additions that fit our style and could really use some suggestions. We recently ordered Dungeons and Dragons Dicemasters starter set to check out that, and that should arrive on this coming Friday. I can't wait for Dark Souls board game, or Rum and Bones second tide. We are also looking forward to Darklight , however those three games won't be around for another year!!! Thanks in advance for any suggestions fellow gamers!!!
