King of Tokyo with the PowerUP! Expansion would be fun. Think Zahtzee with monsters. Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert are meatier games but simple to understand. A lot of kids like Zombicide and DC Deckbuilding is another easy-to-learn game. Both my kids love playing Exploding Kittens. Just don't use the NSFW edition with them.
