Subject: Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Dear Friends,
23 rd march 2006 is the 75th anniversary of martyrdom of Shaheed-e-Aazam Sardaar Bhagat Singh.
and This deserves to be celebrated in a big way. After all we promised them...

Shaheedon ki chitaaon par, lagenge har baras mele,
Watan pe mitne waalon ka, yahi baaki nishan hoga.

Let's not betray our martyrs. BM Jaipur in its meeting on 5-3-6 decided to do its own best possible efforts to celebrate a big mela on this fateful day.

Options discussed were :
1. Meeting CM to urge her to declare it a holiday.
2. Meeting collector to get permission for using " Amar Jawaan " sthal for celebrating the mela.
3. Organising Blood Donation camp, pledging eye donation.
4. Arranging "Desh Bhakti Songs" to be played at "Amar Jawaan" sthal for whole day.
5. Lighting Candles in the evening
6. Kaavya Paath
7. Making people aware about the contribution of Shaheed through lecture, pamhlets.
8. Pamphlet Distribution of BM
9. Displaying banner at 4-5 prominent sites of the city to urge people to personally visit to pay homage to martyrs, so that it actually becomes a mela.
10. a press campaign in association with for making people aware of the importance of the day.
11. Awareness thru FM Radio.

All Jaipur members are requested to co-operate with tan-man-dhan. All suggestions are welcome to modify or improve the programme.

I earnestly urge all BM chapters to celebrate a mela in every city.
The least we BM members can do is - to arrange to decorate your city's "Bhagat Singh Chowk" (most cities have one), display one banner there urging people not to betray our martyrs and ourselves spare a few minutes to personally visit to light a candle.

IF YOU THINK THAT THE PEOPLE WHO DIED FOR US, DO NOT DESERVE TO BE REMEMBERED EVEN ONCE IN 75 YEARS,
PLEASE IGNORE THIS MAIL.

Regards,

Manoj Khurana

March 12, 2006
Time  : 06:00 PM
Place :
Shastri Circle
Members Present :
      Karmendra Singh Mertia
      Ashish Changani
      Abdul Lateef
      Pradeep Joshi

Activities Undertaken :
·                                 Formal Introduction by all the members.
·                                 Discussion of various issues regarding propagation, funds and possible
             problems that may be faced.
·                                 Try to Make offline members.

Brief description :
First of all we had to meet at
Shastri Circle by 06:00 P.M. We had simple discussion over various issues. After it we had formal introductions. Karmendra said that we need the pamphlet, stamp and poster of BM. This idea was postponed till next meeting. It was decided to get some more active members through friend circle, colleagues and Internet. We also decided to paste notices about BM in various colleges . However, as nobody is free on weekdays it was decided to first propagate in our very own colleges. Once we get active members from a college we could paste notices over there (through the member or by fixing that college for a meeting someday). The issue of chapter web page was also discussed. We also feel that these days exams are running so students are busy so we decide to start membership program after exams (Online and offline both).

Next meeting :
The next meeting will be held next month (
02 April 2006) and the actual time-place will be decided later through group mail or by phone.
