Dear Fellow members I do support this proposal. I would like to share my 2 cents worth. IMHO a social activity will be effective with following factors - Active Volunteers Financial Support Constantly increasing reach, openness and thus participation of increasing people
Though poor people may not necessarily only be in villages, they are in our cities too (Many of them come from villages in search for better life) I suggest if we create a framework that can allow volunteers to work with sustained financial support model, then it will be a good start. While surfing on Internet I came across many individuals and similar groups like BM who want to participate, but everyone has only little time in hand considering one's personal responsibilities. Such framework will allow people to take the role which fits to their time and likings. This concept is something similar to global "Open Source Software development" in software field. I have tried to give 90000 feet view of my concept. I shall wait for other's views. If this sounds a feasible idea, then we can join hands to dig deeper and work towards such framework.
