Must Have Skills/Requirements: * 5-10 Years of IT experience. * 3 years of extensive experience as Hadoop Developer and Big Data analyst. * In depth understanding and usage of Hadoop Architecture frameworks and various components such as HDFS, Pig, Hive, SQL, Sqoop, Python Scripting, UDF development and map Reduce concepts, . * Experience in handling structured and unstructured/semi structured data(flat file, json, XML, binary files). * Experience in handling mainframe data. * Knowledge of Linux and strong command line abilities. * Good experience in OOZIE Framework and in automation of daily import jobs. Other Important Requirements: * Determined, committed and hardworking individual with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. * Analyzing massive volumes of data, optimization and performance tuning * Provide suggestions on Big Data ingestion strategies from any data source or type * Deliver implementation on permanent connector which includes data import, transformation, export and synchronization. * Experience in writing custom UDFs for Hive to incorporate methods and functionality of Java into and HQL(HIVEQL). * Good experience in Generating Statistics/extracts/reports from the Hadoop. * Good understanding of NoSQL Data bases like HBASE is plus. * Strong experience in Core Java is preferred. * Production experience with large database systems. * Experience in /Flume/Kafka is plus * Experience in production deployment and support.
