The project objective is to develop a dedicated Global Finance and Risk platform used for consolidation and regulatory reporting. The analyst will be responsible for designing the target functional architecture and conducting all functional aspects of the project for the Americas entities in conformity with the reporting requirements from local and head office stakeholders. Main Responsibilities: • Perform detailed functional analysis of current systems. • Document functional solutions. • Gather user requirements and create requirements and functional design documents. • Design functional architecture. • Analyze impact of proposed solutions. • Coordinate with developers to implement the functionalities required. • Plan, create and manage application testing (test cases), user testing and user training. • Follow-up on and coordinate with various projects actors (Including Head office, Finance & Risk departments , PMO and IT teams) during the different phases of (specifically design and testing phases). Location Address New York New York USA Miscellaneous Required Skills: • Strong functional knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory reporting, consolidations, and liquidity management concepts. • Strong knowledge of accounting in an Investment Banking environment. • Strong knowledge of Investment Banking products (Commercial and Market areas). • Strong technical and functional skill-set to work with business users and developers to clarify requirements and design target solutions. • Project management experience. • Understanding of data warehouse concepts and principles and the ability to write SQL queries to navigate data in Sybase and Oracle databases. • Data analysis. • Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Risk reporting is not mandatory but would be a plus. Experience: • Must have 5+ years’ experience performing business analysis in a similar environment.
